The established Swiss hoster METANET and the owner-managed dogado group of companies are joining forces. Together they form one of the leading hosting providers in the DACH region. As part of this, Tilia Schnarwiler will take over the overall management of METANET AG with immediate effect.
Tilia and Mirco Schnarwiler, the entrepreneurs behind METANET, have been pursuing a consistent vision since the company was founded: „We want to offer reliable web solutions with fast and personal support to make small and medium-sized businesses successful online.“ To implement this vision even better in the future, they have joined forces with the international dogado group of companies.
Both companies share the same strengths: dogado and METANET are consistently convincing with the best survey results regarding their product and service quality. Measured by the number of their customers, the group belongs to the top hosting providers in Germany, Austria and now also in Switzerland. Daniel Hagemeier, co-owner and CEO of dogado, comments: „With our two business units Cloud & Domains and Digital Marketing Services, we are not only able to host websites, but also to make them successful online. And that’s what matters to many small and medium-sized businesses.“
Tilia Schnarwiler explains: „METANET stands for reliable infrastructure and outstanding customer support, more than 55,000 customers trust us today. When looking for our future partner, we were particularly convinced by the customer focus and high quality standards of Daniel and the dogado team.“ Tilia Schnarwiler will in future be the managing director at METANET. Founder Mirco Schnarwiler will also remain with the company.
According to Tilia Schnarwiler, the merger with dogado will enable the company to take the next step: „We will expand our product portfolio and work together to grow even stronger in the Swiss market.“ To this end, business will be continued and expanded from the Zurich location and also the data center site in Switzerland.
The dogado group with main offices in Dortmund (Germany), Vienna (Austria) and now also Zurich (Switzerland) has around 370,000 customers. More than 580 employees support the product portfolio of the business units Cloud & Domains and Digital Marketing Services.
