Jake Rooney

Jake is the COO (SaaS) of group.one. He has P&L ownership of the software business unit and is also responsible for software-related mergers and acquisitions within the group. Jake was previously the Chief Business Development Officer of group.ONE prior to the merger with Dogado. He has been with the company since 2020.

Jake brings a wealth of business experience to the company with his background in mergers and acquisitions. Before joining group.ONE he worked within investment banking both in New Zealand and the United Kingdom where he focused on software and internet infrastructure companies. Jake studied finance, economics and accounting and holds a Master of Business as well as Bachelor degrees from the University of Otago.
